Dollar Academy is the base for RV Golf Schools’ The Open Week from 10–17 July 2027. The week combines professional coaching, a programme of Scottish golf and a planned visit to The Open Championship.
A different week of Scottish golf
The Open Week is a chance to explore inland and links courses while spending time with other junior golfers. The planned Championship visit is on Sunday 11 July, followed by coaching and golf through the week, with a final round planned at Dollar Golf Club on Saturday 17 July. The published courses and daily allocations are provisional. Final arrangements may change as tee times, visits and other bookings are confirmed.
Golf experiences for The Open Week
Ultimate is designed for ages 10–18 and does not require a handicap. Hidden Gems is for established 18-hole golfers aged 12–18 with a handicap. Signature is for ages 14–18 with a handicap of 15 or better. Each experience is limited to eight golfers per week. Development is offered during the St Andrews weeks rather than The Open Week. Families should compare the current experience descriptions when choosing the right camp.
Coaching and personal development
Every camp includes two hours of professional group coaching each day. Ultimate, Hidden Gems and Signature golfers can add the optional High Performance Coaching upgrade, which includes individual swing and putting analysis, specialist coaching and a personal CoachNow record. Beyond technical improvement, camp gives young people opportunities to make friends, build confidence and become more independent. The golf-focused programme is shaped around each golfer’s age, playing experience and objectives.
