RV Golf Schools — 2027 Booking Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to bookings for RV Golf Schools’ 2027 summer camps. Please read them alongside your selected programme, booking summary and payment schedule before confirming your booking.
1. Your booking
RV Golf Schools is operated by Rick Valentine Golf Schools Ltd.
Bookings must be made by a parent, guardian or other authorised adult. The person making the booking is responsible for checking the selected golfers, dates, experiences, accommodation options and extras.
Golfers must meet the requirements of their selected experience. Please contact us before booking if you are unsure which option is suitable.
Your booking is confirmed when the initial payment required at checkout has been successfully received and we have issued your booking confirmation. Full payment is not required at the time of booking where an instalment plan is available.
2. Prices and staged payments
Prices are in pounds sterling. Your booking summary shows your selected camp places, extras and total price.
The standard payment schedule is:
- At booking: £500 per golfer for each camp week booked, plus the price of selected extras.
- 1 February 2027: half of the remaining camp balance.
- 3 May 2027: the final remaining balance.
For bookings made on or after an instalment date, the instalment already due is included in the initial payment. Bookings made on or after 3 May 2027 require full payment at booking.
The exact amounts and dates are displayed in your WeTravel payment schedule. Where automatic payment is enabled and authorised, payments will be collected using the arrangements shown there. You remain responsible for ensuring payments are made successfully.
If a payment fails or you expect difficulty meeting a payment date, please contact us promptly. We will contact you about overdue payments and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve them before considering cancellation. Any cancellation charge remains subject to section 3 and your statutory rights.
3. Cancellations and refunds
Please email cancellation requests to info@rvgs.golf, identifying the golfer and camp week or weeks being cancelled. Notice is calculated from the date we receive your written request to the start of each affected camp week.
- More than three calendar months before camp: refund of 100% of payments already made for the cancelled camp place.
- More than two calendar months, up to and including three calendar months before camp: refund of 50% of payments already made.
- Two calendar months or less before camp: no refund under the standard cancellation policy.
Refund percentages apply to payments received for the cancelled place, rather than its full advertised price. Future unpaid instalments for that place will be cancelled.
Where you choose to cancel, any actual, non-recoverable bank, payment-processing or refund charges arising from your booking and cancellation will be your responsibility, to the extent permitted by law. We will explain and itemise any deduction before processing the refund. Charges imposed separately by your own bank, including currency-conversion charges, remain your responsibility.
Selected extras will be reviewed separately, taking account of whether they have already been supplied, personalised or committed to suppliers, and any recoverable costs.
Any amounts retained, including charges, will remain subject to applicable consumer law and will not exceed our reasonable net losses after allowing for costs saved or recovered. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
4. Changes requested by you
Please contact us if you wish to change a golfer’s dates, experience, accommodation option or extras.
Changes depend on availability, programme suitability and supplier arrangements. We will explain any price difference or unavoidable cost before you decide whether to proceed.
A change is only confirmed when we have agreed it in writing. Requests to cancel part of a booking are assessed under section 3.
5. Changes or cancellations by RV Golf Schools
The published programme identifies any provisional courses, visits or arrangements. Golf courses, tee times and daily activities may change because of weather, course availability, safety or other operational circumstances.
We will aim to provide a suitable alternative and inform you of significant changes as soon as reasonably possible.
If we need to make a significant change to the essential features of your booked programme before it starts, we will explain the change and your available options. Where appropriate, these will include accepting a suitable alternative or cancelling the affected programme for a refund.
If RV Golf Schools cancels your camp, you may choose a refund of payments made for the cancelled services or an alternative programme we offer. You do not have to accept a credit or replacement programme.
Nothing in this section limits any additional rights or remedies you may have under applicable law.
6. What your booking includes
Your selected programme and booking summary set out what is included.
Residential places include accommodation, meals, supervision and organised evening activities as described for the booked camp. Non-residential places include the coaching and golf programme and lunch; breakfast, dinner and accommodation are not included.
Flights and independently arranged travel are not included. Any RVGS transfers or additional accommodation must be included in, or separately confirmed as part of, your booking.
Please check arrangements with us before purchasing non-refundable travel.
7. Registration, medical information and consent
Parents or guardians must complete the required registration, medical, travel and consent information by the deadlines shown in WeTravel.
Please provide accurate information about medical conditions, allergies, medication, dietary requirements and support needs, and notify us promptly of changes.
Any medication or individual support arrangements must be discussed and agreed with RVGS before arrival.
The parent or guardian with parental responsibility must complete the required consent declaration. This declaration works alongside these booking terms and each golfer’s individual permissions.
8. Conduct and safety
Golfers must follow staff instructions, safety guidance and the standards of behaviour explained by RVGS.
We aim to resolve concerns fairly, with appropriate support and communication with parents or guardians. Where behaviour creates a serious safety risk or involves serious or repeated misconduct, we may require a golfer to leave camp.
We will explain the reasons and discuss safe collection arrangements with the parent or guardian. Any costs or refund decision will be considered fairly in the circumstances and subject to applicable law.
9. Insurance and personal belongings
Please ensure your child has appropriate insurance for their travel and participation in camp, including medical treatment, cancellation, curtailment and golf equipment where relevant.
Please check the policy covers your child’s circumstances and planned activities. RVGS does not assess the suitability of individual insurance policies.
Golfers should take reasonable care of their belongings. Please contact us promptly about any loss or damage during camp.
10. Photography and video
Promotional photography and video permission is recorded separately for each golfer.
Booking or signing the general consent declaration does not automatically give promotional permission. We will follow the individual choices recorded in the consent forms.
Choosing not to give promotional permission does not affect participation. Permission may be withdrawn by contacting info@rvgs.golf.
11. Responsibility and your rights
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill.
Golf and outdoor activities involve inherent risks. We manage those risks through appropriate planning, supervision and safety procedures, and golfers must follow the guidance provided.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
These terms do not remove your statutory consumer rights.
12. Personal information
We use booking and pupil information to administer bookings, provide the camp programme and support golfers’ welfare, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
An enquiry or booking does not automatically subscribe a family to marketing emails. Marketing preferences and individual permissions are managed separately.
13. Questions and complaints
Please tell the camp team promptly if something is wrong during camp so we have the opportunity to help.
Booking questions or complaints can be sent to info@rvgs.golf. Please include the booking reference and relevant details. We will acknowledge your concerns and explain the next steps.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by Scots law. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protections or rights to bring proceedings in a court available to you under applicable law.
