Choosing a junior golf camp is about finding the right level of challenge, coaching and enjoyment for your golfer. For summer 2027, RV Golf Schools’ main programme is in Scotland, combining St Andrews weeks with The Open Week based at Dollar Academy.
Links and parkland golf offer different challenges
Coastal links golf encourages players to think about wind, ground conditions and the shape of their shots. Inland courses can place a different emphasis on positioning, approach play and managing hazards. Experiencing a variety of courses helps golfers develop their decisions as well as their technique.
The courses in our published 2027 schedules are planned selections, matched to each week and experience. Final allocations and daily schedules may change as arrangements are confirmed.
Choose the experience that suits your golfer
Development is designed for ages 7–11 and Ultimate for ages 10–18, with no handicap required for either. Hidden Gems is for established 18-hole golfers aged 12–18 with a handicap. Signature is for ages 14–18 with a handicap of 15 or better. Suitability depends on both age and playing experience.
Professional coaching comes as standard
Every camp includes two hours of professional group coaching each day, covering different parts of the game. Each experience is limited to eight golfers per week. Ultimate, Hidden Gems and Signature golfers can add High Performance Coaching for individual swing and putting analysis, specialist coaching and a personal CoachNow record.
Plan your summer in Scotland
The programme runs from 4–31 July 2027. Weeks 1, 3 and 4 are based in St Andrews. The Open Week runs from 10–17 July at Dollar Academy, with a planned visit to The Open Championship. Residential and non-residential options let families choose the arrangement that suits them.
Earlier RVGS programmes included London camps. Those earlier schedules and venues should not be used as booking information for summer 2027.
